Copyright & Usage Terms

Our original photography is protected work

VisitOregon.com is owned and operated by Visit Oregon, LLC (“Visit Oregon”) and features a combination of original photography produced by Visit Oregon and licensed stock imagery. All original Visit Oregon photography is the copyrighted work of Visit Oregon, LLC and is protected under U.S. and international copyright law. Our original images may not be copied, downloaded, reproduced, distributed, or used for any purpose without a valid written license from Visit Oregon, LLC. Licensed stock imagery on the site remains the property of its respective copyright holders and is not available for licensing through us.

Copyright ownership information is embedded in the metadata of every Visit Oregon original image. Removing, altering, or obscuring that information is a separate violation under federal law.

Unauthorized commercial use of our original photography is actively monitored. Where we identify use of our images without a license, we offer the opportunity to license the image retroactively in lieu of further action.

If you’ve already used one of our original images, or you’re not sure whether an image is ours, contact us — resolving it through a license is straightforward and almost always the simplest path forward.
