2. Coquille Point

7. Tony’s Crab Shack

8. Bandon Fish Market

Now, out of all the things to do in Bandon, Oregon, this is probably one of the best ones! If you want to get some rest from all the sightseeing you did, then this is the perfect place to do so. You can find this fish market right across the street from Tony’s, and it features a very different cooking style than you expect! Most of the fish and chips plates you will find there are fried, and they all taste amazing because the food is fresh! The portions are very large, and other than your classic fish and chips, you can find calamari, large prawns, shrimp or crab sandwiches, chowder, popcorn shrimp, and so much more!

9. Cranberry sweets

First things first, let’s do a little trivia – did you know that Bandon is the cranberry capital of Oregon? If you didn’t know this, then you’re in for a treat – literally! The incredibly popular jelly candies were developed in 1962, and the rest is history. They come in an original cranberry candy form which you can go and try yourself! The company that made them has expanded plenty in the last 50 years, so now you can give hundreds of unique flavors a go.

10. Bullards Beach State Park

The long beach is magnificent, and you will love every minute of it! There is a campground hidden between the wonderful pines, and there are even 11 miles of horse trails there! Although it may get chilly during the night, we recommend you spend a night at this beach under the starry sky. And don’t worry about getting cold. With all the logs around, you can easily put up a campfire! Talk about a romantic evening for two!

11. Coquille River Lighthouse

Once you’re full and ready to do, there are still a couple of things to see and do here. Your next stop should be the Coquille River lighthouse, especially because of its uniqueness. It was built in 1896 to guide the ships into the harbor. However, it was abandoned in 1939, and an automatic light was added later on. But, during the period between 1939 and 1976, it was in a desperate state, completely abandoned until the restoration project began. The entire structure was improved, the lighthouse was repainted, and the roof was fixed. In short, it will not only be a beautiful sight to see but can also look pretty good as the backdrop for your photos.

12. Bandon Old Town

If you want to try some other activities in Bandon, Oregon, why not take a stroll through the old town? While we focused on plenty of outdoor activities, maybe this will be the refreshment you need. The Old Town Bandon consists of 10 blocks of cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. You can’t miss it since it is clearly marked, and you will be positively overwhelmed by everything you see! A fun fact about this part of the town – there was a forest fire in 1936 that burned down all the original buildings. Since then, the town has been completely rebuilt.

13. Horseback riding

The Bandon Beach Riding Stables can provide you with that scenic horseback riding tour you will remember for the rest of your life. If you are an equestrian, this is a unique way to experience the wonderful coastline. The rides last for about an hour, and you get to experience more than 2 miles of the beach, turning around before you hit Face Rock. This is truly an unforgettable experience!
